Curious sculpture - Barnacle Cluster

Interior Table Sculpture including a real Purple Barnacle Cluster.
Designed this summer in Italy, modeled in 3d this autumn in Germany, manufactured this winter in Bavaria, black coated last week in my workshop! I call it micro desk :D It's about 14x10x8cm, made of 5 parts that just slide together and hold by material stiffness. It's pretty solid.
The idea was to harbor a "Barnacle cluster" we bought on holiday in Italy. It's a high ticket, coral build assembly of shells that sells for hundred of euros. But it was sold without a stand so I decided to design one.
To me the Barnacle, especialy the purple ones look super scifi alien like, so that's why I wanted to give the stand a kind of space-scifi look to it. The dream would be for the next director of Alien to use it as a movie prop decor on the table of the Ripley or this little girl she saved in part 2.
